Implement AI’s Piers Linney MBE Keynotes Fitness Summit 2026
May 25, 2026
Implement AI co-founder Piers Linney delivered the keynote at the Fitness Technology Summit UK 2026 in London on 19 May.
The Summit is one of the leading industry events for fitness operators, suppliers, and technology leaders in the UK. This year’s programme focused on where AI sits in multi-site fitness operations, how operators are balancing technology investment with member experience, and what responsible deployment of AI looks like across the sector.
Piers presented original research from Implement AI’s work with multi-site gym operators, with a focus on where revenue is leaking inside operations that look healthy from the outside. The session drew from data the team has been gathering across the UK fitness estate over the first half of 2026.
The themes that ran through the day were familiar to anyone tracking AI in operational businesses. AI governance and accountability. Trust and transparency around member data. ROI before investment. Using technology to support staff rather than replace them. The strongest operators in the room were not chasing AI-first deployment. They were focused on getting AI-assisted right.
